The premise
Make the invisible assumption visible.
The 01 Lab is where persistent frustrations become speculative systems. Each project begins with an ordinary experience that does not work as well as we have learned to pretend it does.
I examine the outcome people actually need, identify the assumption the category has inherited, and make an alternative visible—often by taking it several steps beyond what good judgment would ordinarily permit.
These are not product announcements or construction plans. They are provocations: coherent enough to reveal something useful, exaggerated enough to make the underlying question difficult to ignore.
